Committed to building simple, decent, affordable housing for needy families of Rockdale County.
 
The Conyers/Rockdale affiliate of Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1990. With volunteers and donations from the community, we change lives, fulfill dreams and build a future for the first time home owner who would not otherwise qualify for a home mortgage. 
 
RECENT NEWS: According to "Builders" magazine's recent survey, Habitat for Humanity is ranked the sixth (6th) largest hombuilder in the United States with 6,032 closings in 2010. More than 500,000 Habitat homes have been built worldwide. 


Our Mission:
Habitat for Humanity is a Christian Housing Ministry committed to providing decent, affordable housing for qualified families in need.  Houses are sold to selected families at cost and the family repays the affiliate over time by an interest-free mortgage.

A total Habitat community, known as "Olde Town Village" is now complete in Conyers which will provide building sites for 32 future Habitat homes. The first house construction began in February 2011.

Habitat homes are built with the support of community partners.
